Job Overview
The Supervisor, Field Service Engineering leads a team of field service engineers and provides field service engineering and technical assistance to customers in the areas of installation, startup, maintenance and repair, training and modification of equipment.
A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you will contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:
- Providing technical solutions to customers that involve engineering research impacting eqipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, and encomonic impact analysis.
- Routinely leading project teams and overseeing the contributions of more junior level engineers and technicians.
- Dispatching field service engineers to client locations to install maintain, or repair equipment, as well as troubleshoot systems or assets.
- Managing an organization's field resources and coordinating the work of field service practioners who provide clients with skilled, specialized, or proprietary services.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field (required)
- Mimimum 5 years of relevant experience (required)
- Fully competent in the skills and knowledge to work on complex engineering problems with only moderate coaching or guidance
- Proficient in relevant software and hardware
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solvig skills.
