Job Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer must have the ability to analyze problems and processes and offer solutions or work with senior engineers to implement solutions. Experience working with electronics, computers, automotive or robotics or similar technology field required.
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000 annually and offers a competitive benefits package.

A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Assists in planning and designing processes for an electronics manufacturing facility .
- Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization in an electronic environment.
- Daily tasks will involve working hand in hand with production in an Electronic Metering Production Department
- Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
- Generates, reviews and updates work instructions and procedures as necessary to improve cycle times, cost and quality.
- Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role with other departments to assist in cost reduction and cycle time improvement.
- Assists engineering with Prototype builds and creates all necessary documentation to transition product to production.
- Assist production with ERP system (Netsuite/SAP) as necessary to ensure inventory and work orders are properly processed.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering/Mechanical Engineering or similar technical area.
- 3-5 years’ Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment where electrical testing of Printed Circuit boards and/or finished goods is performed
- Lean Six Sigma/5s Tools a Plus.
- Experience with wiring, cable assemblies, PCB’s, soldering and mechanical assembly of electronics strongly recommended.
- Netsuite experience a plus, or ability to learn new software to assist production
