Job Overview

Responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development. Assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests and collects data.
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary for this role will be $75,000 annually and offers a competitive benefits package.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: Primary Job Functions:

•    Perform EMC type testing as per industry standards
•    Understand and modify Electrical schematics, diagrams and technical documents
•    Assist Design engineers in verifying product performance and writing of reports to describe the verification
•    Creating and building test fixtures
•    Wiring up of panel instrumentation
•    Test, troubleshoot and repair analog and digital circuitry down to component level
•    Create and perform test cases as per product feature requirements
•    Maintain lab equipment
•    Power supply experience a plus.

What will help you thrive in this role?

 

AAS degree, degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent technical experience
Experience with Computer software such as MS Word, Excel and Adobe PDF
Experience with reading and understanding electrical schematics
Experience with Soldering and Wiring
Experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes
Altium or equivalent PCB Design software experience a plus
Mechanical aptitude a plus
