Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic meters in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring product quality by diagnosing and resolving issues with units that fail during production.

A Day In The Life

Key Responsibilities
•    Assemble, test, and inspect power meters in accordance with production specifications and quality standards
•    Troubleshoot and diagnose failed units during production, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
•    Perform repairs and rework to bring non-conforming products into compliance
•    Document failures, analysis, and corrective steps to support continuous improvement initiatives
•    Collaborate with test engineering and quality teams to resolve recurring issues and improve processes
•    Follow standardized work instructions, safety procedures, and quality control protocols
•    Maintain accurate production and test records using ERP systems

What will help you thrive in this role?

Qualifications
•    Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (metering or electronics assembly preferred)
•    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly with electronic or electrical devices
•    Ability to read schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation
•    High attention to detail and commitment to quality
•    Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices a plus
•    Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP strongly preferred
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume setting
Preferred Experience
•    Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
•    Background in electrical testing, diagnostics, or repair
