Job Overview

Designs, develops, and participates in the analysis and implementation of supply chain improvement processes related to material flow, SAP system process, new technologies implementation, and other supply chain related projects in the assigned area. Gives support to Supply Chain Manager and Supervisors, in the related activities for process improvement, SAP transactions, troubleshooting of implemented process and technologies, training, and sustainment of continuous improvement in all processes.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways.  On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

  1. Participating in the analysis of processes to determine productivity, inventory accuracy and cost reduction opportunities. 
  2. Conducts Project Management of new processes and technologies. 
  3. Initiates cost reductions in the Supply Chain area; supports and assists in maintaining the cost reduction program, such as Material Flow (Supermarket and Fix Locations). 
  4. Responsible for the planning, development, and installation of improved supply chain SAP WM system enhancements. 
  5. Prepares process charts, flow charts of supply chain processes. 
  6. Support the implementation of an efficient warehouse layout and floor supermarket locations. 
  7. Prepares standard process and training for SAP transactions.
  8. Receives assignments to support special supply chain projects.
  9. Performs other related duties required by the Supervisor.  

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Materials Management, or Business Administration.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in Warehouse Distribution of Manufacturing site.
  • Knowledge of supply chain process, SAP IM and WM Transactions and Process.
  • Good communications skills written and verbal in the Spanish/English languages.
