Job Overview
This position will manage and oversees all warehouse activities. Ensure efficient processes and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include Safety, supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. Gives complete support to Manufacturing Supervisors, Managers and Associates in activities focused on the promotion, training, maintenance and sustainment of continuous improvement in all processes.
A Day In The Life
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Checking orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
- Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
- Develop, maintain and track KPI's of areas of responsibilities.
- Support cycle count program in the warehouse.
- Initiates change in methods and procedures, to ensure all SAP transactions and processes are accurate and on posted on time.
- Investigates bottlenecks or delays in materials movement, taking required corrective action to resolve problems.
- Documents processes, while maintaining current ones, up to date. Ensures procedures are followed and works to keep International Standard Organization “ISO” certification.
- Managed and Lead warehouse team, included but not limited to; encourage the team to delivered and keep them engaged, training and development, work schedule preparation, disciplinary actions if needed.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in science such as Industrial Engineering; or Business Administration in Materials Management or Logistics.
- Five (3) to (5) years’ experience in warehouse administration, supply chain, materials management. Manufacturing environment, preferred.
- SAP and warehouse system management proficient experience.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish).
- Computer literate Power Point, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook minimum.
