Job Overview
Under the direction of the Manager Facility, the supervisor manages the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including Chilled Water, RTU, plumbing, electrical, and compressed air utilities to ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
A Day In The Life
- Monitor, inspect, and maintain essential utility systems such as, but not limited to: Air Compressors, Power Generators, RTU, Chillers, plumbing, electrical; and building infrastructure.
- Monitor equipment performance to implement or improve preventive maintenance.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent downtime and manage emergency repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders and other departments to resolve customer service issues and to ensure timely and effective resolution of problems
- Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure that external contracts are executed as agreed. These include, but are not limited to landscaping, janitorial and pest control.
- Keep efficiency in the execution of preventive maintenance in compliance with the established goals.
- Work closely with the Manager Facility to closely monitor cost, energy conservation, cost reductions as establish in yearly operational goals.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical fields
- Experience in supervision in Facilities/Utilities associated with the regulated industries
- Bilingual, English / Spanish written, and verbal communication skills is highly desirable
- Computer literate
