A Day In The Life
- Analysis, consolidation, and upload of financial data for actuals, forecasts, and budgets
- Develop financial reports and models using SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, and Excel
- Month end responsibilities include validation and consolidation of actual results, executing and distributing financial reports, and analyzing financial data
- Act as a liaison between Business Unit Controllers and other staff to resolve issues, compile data, and answer questions
- Utilize financial systems to extract and validate data throughout the segment entity reporting structure
- Perform critical data reconciliation and support to financial system enhancements
- Lead the creation of Monthly Operating Review presentations for senior management, utilizing Think-cell graphing and visualization technology
- Active analysis of sales and operating costs, identifying key drivers, metrics, and variations
- Other ad hoc requests/special projects consistent with HPS and company objectives
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Armed with a BS Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- A wizard in MS Office and have a strong grasp of financial software like SAP and Hyperion; experience with OneStream is a cherry on top!
- An MBA or CPA is a plus, but your ability to analyze and strategize is what truly sets you apart.
