Job Overview

The Quality Specialist II    monitors, inspects, and proposes measures to correct or improve the company's final products and processes to meet established quality standards.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: 

• Identifying gaps in efficient process workflow and suggesting steps for supplier quality process improvement.
• Collecting, preparing, and analyzing data for corrective action and process improvement.
• Supporting production operations and critical business situations.
• Ensuring materials and products meet defined product specifications and standards.
• Documenting the results of all inspections.
• Reviewing, compiling, and analyzing information to prepare reports.
• Developing and revising new material specifications.
• Investigating quality issues to identify root causes and ensure issues are addressed and resolved.
• Playing an active role in the development of inspection requirements.
• Analyzing all customer feedback for trends and continuous improvement.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related field
• Relevant quality certification preferred
• 6-10 years of relevant experience (required)
• Working knowledge of quality tools, methods, and concepts (required)
• Sound knowledge of regulatory standards
• Proficiency in related systems and software
