Job Overview
The Revenue Accountant will support accurate and compliant revenue and cost accounting with a strong emphasis on SAP processes, month-end close execution, and SOX-controlled activities. This role is hands-on and operational, supporting recurring revenue activities, detailed reconciliations, and issue resolution while partnering closely with Technical Accounting on complex revenue matters and process improvement initiatives.

A Day In The Life
- Perform month-end close routines, including preparing journal entries and preparing account reconciliations in Blackline
- Perform SOX controls as assigned and assist with internal and external control audits
- Ensure compliance with existing company policies and procedures
- Assess proper accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP
- Provides research, analysis and support for other tasks, as requested
- Partner with customer service and other functions to meet operational and compliance objectives for the Order to Cash cycle
- Participating in process improvement initiatives focused on close efficiency, error reduction, and automation
- Support special projects and ad-hoc analysis as assigned by Technical Accounting
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2 – 5 years of accounting, auditing and related experience is preferred
- Experience with SAP (revenue/AR subledger), BlackLine, and SOX environments preferred.
- Highly organized with an ability to work well under tight time constraints and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
