Brand Overview

Hubbell’s Enterprise Marketing (HEM) Hubbell Utility Segment (HUS) Marketing Manager is responsible for managing a team of account managers that serve as strategic business partners to their assigned client, brand, campus, or market. They ensure all are meeting the marketing needs of assigned client(s) within Hubbell who are responsible for the market success of a suite of products and brands.    Marketing Managers should serve as trusted advisors to HUS business leaders understanding their brands, products, and markets, supporting their needs at all phases of the product life cycle from inception through retirement.  

The HUS Marketing Manager liaises between HUS clients and cross-functional HEM teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of a holistic marketing approach to position Hubbell and its brands and products to be market leaders.  The Account Manager is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  They perform a variety of tasks as well as lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mentor, coach and develop a diverse team of Account Management team for high level of sustained performance
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with business and sales leaders for assigned client accounts and serve as the primary point of HEM team contact for them
  • Work with business and sales leaders to develop strategic marketing plans in support of growth objectives. 
  • Work hand-in-hand with project manager and HEM shared services to ensure the timely and successful delivery of HEM solutions according to customer needs and objectives 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, including effective deployment of marketing budgets 

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field of study
  • A minimum of 7 years of marketing experience with agency background desirable 
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Proven ability to successfully build, coach, motivate and inspire a diverse, high-performing team to achieve outstanding results  
  • The ability to work with little to no supervision in delivering high quality work and capable of effectively collaborating with global, cross-functional teams as needed
