As a Data Analyst Intern you will be using databases to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

A Day In The Life
Roles and Responsibilities will vary by Hubbell business location, but may include the following:
- Reviewing current program activities to make recommendations for changes/improvement opportunities
- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
- Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
- Using Power BI and other applications to create and organize data to make informed decisions, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct problems.
- Extracting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources using automated tools.
- Other duties as assigned
Detailed roles and responsibilities will be outlined dependent on business Group, location and the project outlined
Expectations: The intern will be expected to work full-time at 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Student must be enrolled in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related degree
- Basic understanding of accounting, pricing and finance principles
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
