Division Overview
Hubbell Construction & Energy (HCE) focuses on products to support four business segments: Connectors, Grounding & Tooling, Gas Connectors & Accessories, Harsh & Hazardous, and Distribution. With markets in renewable energy, lighting, transportation, data center, telecom, utility, extreme environment, gas and water distribution, power generation and oil & gas, we guarantee that our products set the standards for industry solutions. The E-Commerce Coordinator reporting to the E-Business Manager and will be responsible for the creation, dissemination, and maintenance of product data and marketing content for websites, trading partner communications, and other e-commerce specific needs. Primary responsibilities include Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and managing data maintenance projects that consist of enriching, editing, and adding product data to the website using STIBO Step, Hubbell’s Product Information Management (PIM) System. The E-Commerce Coordinator will work with product managers, engineers, developers, and our marketing team in India to create and disseminate marketing content. This position will ensure projects are on track and work intimately with the teams that support product launches and acquisitions globally.



  • Coordinate/Create marketing content to enhance the online user experience and drive marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain data integrity for product display on the web.
  • Work with our Platform SEO Lead to identify content issues ranging from meta tags to thin/ duplicate content issues.
  • Identify opportunities for new content via: competitor analysis, analysis of current content performance in Google Search Console, Google Analytics and BrightEdge, using BrightEdge’s Content IQ to support new strategies.
  • Engage in keyword research to identify the most valuable and high return keywords for HCE’s landing pages.  
  • Work with E-Commerce/E-Business Managers and stakeholders from across the HCE Platform to support in the creation of carefully optimized, unique, useful and engaging content.
  • Engage in link building activity to improve the performance of high-profile content.
  • Report on findings and efforts on a regular basis using GSC, GA, BrightEdge and any other tools that may be of use (Moz, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl etc.)
  • Approximately 15-25% travel.



  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Computer Science, Marketing or another related field).
  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience in Content Marketing.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • A creative and innovative mindset and passion for Content Marketing.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a global team, managing projects across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Stibo STEP is preferred.
  • Experience in managing complex data problems such as data acquisition, translation, harmonization, cleansing, and ongoing quality is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with on-page and off-page SEO and keyword research, as well as a robust understanding of how optimized content can perform better.
  • Must have some experience using Google Analytics, Google Analytics certification is preferred.
  • Some experience using Google Search Console or other SEO tools like BrightEdge, Moz or DeepCrawl is preferred.
  • Some knowledge of organic search engine changes, including SE algorithm updates is preferred.
