Il/Elle apporte son soutien aux équipes marketing, ventes et service client pour la promotion des produits et services Electro Composites.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible to provide technical and commercial interface between the Electro Composites facility and Electro Composites customers both direct to customers and indirect through the Hubbell Sales Organization. He/She supports efforts of Marketing/Sales/Customer Service personnel in promoting Electro Composites products & services.

A Day In The Life

  • Évaluer les RFQs et les applications produits des clients et spécifier un produit Electro Composites répondant à leurs besoins
  • Être impliqué dans le processus d'appel d'offres
  • Évaluer les préoccupations des clients et les communiquer aux services de contrôle de la production, d'ingénierie et/ou de marketing
  • Collaborer avec les services d'ingénierie et de production pour résoudre les problèmes liés aux exigences des clients
  • Analyser les tendances d’opportunités de produits actuelles/nouvelles chez les Transformer OEM’s et les besoins de remplacement des services publics nord-américains, puis communiquer ces informations de manière appropriée
  • Influencer les décisions des clients par des visites et des présentations de produits afin d'obtenir les meilleurs résultats à long terme pour Electro Composites
  • Participer, et à terme pilote, les initiatives d’Electro Composites liées à la qualité et aux réclamations de garantie
  • Contribuer à l'élaboration des stratégies de prix des traversées pour optimiser la rentabilité de l'entreprise
  • Contribuer à l'élaboration de la documentation et des outils de vente nécessaires à la commercialisation des traversées
  • Participer aux événements sectoriels et clients et préparer les rapports et présentations requis

  • Evaluates customer’s RFQ and product application and specifies an Electro Composites product to meet the customer’s needs
  • Engages in the bid process to customers
  • Evaluates customer concerns and communicates these concerns to production control, engineering, and/or marketing department individuals
  • Collaborates with engineering and production departments in problem-solving customer requirements
  • Evaluates trends on current and new product opportunities at the Transformer OEM’s and on the replacement requirements of North American utilities and communicates this information appropriately
  • Influences customer decisions through personal visits and product presentations in order to achieve the best long-term results for Electro Composites
  • Assists in, and eventually leads from a Marketing standpoint, Electro Composites efforts related to quality and warranty claims
  • Assists in developing pricing strategies on the bushing products to optimize company profits
  • Assists in developing literature and sales tools needed to market bushing products
  • Participates in industry/customer functions and prepares reports/presentations as required for these and other events
  • Other duties as assigned

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Baccalauréat en marketing, dans un domaine connexe, et/ou en ingénierie 
  • Expérience de 3 à 5 ans en marketing et/ou ingénierie 
  • Compréhension des schémas électriques, des systèmes d'alimentation et des normes des services publics
  • Solides compétences en analyse financière et en évaluation des produits
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et à la résolution de problèmes
  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements jusqu'à 20 % du temps pour le soutien à la clientèle et les interventions sur le terrain
  • La participation aux comités techniques IEEE/IEC/CIGRE est un atout
  • Bilingue en français et en anglais

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and/or in Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing and/or engineering 
  • Understanding of electrical schematics, power systems, and utility standards
  • Strong product financial understanding and evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer support and field activities
  • Involvement in IEEE/IEC/CIGRE technical committees is a plus
  • Biluigual in French and English
