Position Overview

2nd shift maintenance mechanic

Duties and Responsibilities

Industrial maintenance mechanic is responsible for the daily troubleshooting and repair of production equipment. This equipment can include presses, forklifts, PLC's, VFD's, electrical from 12V to 440V, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical motors, computer diagnostic, schematics, and wiring.

Skills and Experience

Must have a minimum of 6 years notarized proof of industrial maintenance experience or a journeyman's card. A strong background in mechanical, and electrical is required. Must be able to read blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting. A background in lathes, drills, welding, and fabrication is also a plus.
