Position Overview

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Welding operator for the manufacture of products for the industrial, commercial and residential markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Duties include: Welding of multiple semi finished parts to create a finished good.  Remove parts from bins, place into fixtures and jigs to assure alignment per standard procedure.  Assembly required of some items in addition to welding.  Must be able to perform minor troubleshooting of equipment to evaluate issues and request help as needed.  Products are packaged into cartons of various quantities, labeled and stacked onto pallets.  Operator is responsible for assuring quality of parts being produced within their cell through the use of gages and instruments through periodic required inspections.  Must keep work area safe, clean and orderly at all times.

Skills and Experience

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Previous experience in an industrial setting - basic mechanical abilities required.  Ability to recognize and understand quality of products and use of gages and instruments to assure products are made to specification.
