Position Overview

Provide Inside Sales coverage and Technical Support for Wiegmann brand. Sells corporate products to business and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Acts as the sole sales contact at Authorized Distributor accounts by building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, aged leads, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Provides Customer Service functions to the account including price & availability information, expedites and order entry.
  • Provides limited pricing support where required by Company policy.
  • Provides basic Technical Services support to assigned accounts.
  • Resolves customer problems by interfacing with distribution, manufacturing, marketing, sales and freight carriers.
  • Provides support documentation to customers regarding open orders, weekly shipments and past due orders.
  • Performs follow up on all quotes.
  • Supplies customers with literature updates.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into database
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
Skills and Experience
  • Associates Degree in Business or Relevant Work Experience in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service
  • Knowledge of SAP Preferred
  • 3+ years related experience and/or training.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Education
Associates Degree in Business or Computer Science
