The Electronic Test Technician reporting to the Production Manager, is responsible for performing technical skills and tasks in an electronic assembly environment

Position located in Solon, OH

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday

$19.00 per hour 

A Day In The Life

  • Perform basic test equipment setup using work and test instructions.
  • Perform basic replacement of circuit board and wiring for Data Collection Unit.
  • Perform basic test, configuration and fault isolation operations for all Data Collection Unit product families.
  • Perform basic testing and configuration functions for our Zonescan product.
  • Perform basic test and fault isolation functions for Grid Monitoring calibration, high voltage and cellular testing for all product families.
  • Basic fault-isolation of circuit boards utilizing digital multi-meter, and basic PC test applications and equipment.
  • Comply with all safety requirements.
  • Comply with company ESD policy.
  • Clean workstation at the end of each day.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the DCU Lead and/or production supervisor.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Minimum of an Associate’s technical degree or a minimum of 2 years’ equivalent electronics training.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related software utilizing a Windows platform.
  • One or more years’ experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment as a technician.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Frequent walking/standing/bending
