Job Overview
Hubbell Premise Wiring provides Structured Cabling and Fiber Optic Solutions to a vast marketplace including Commercial, Educational and Industrial customers. The Regional Manager plans, organizes, develops and implements sales strategies to assist Territory Managers throughout the region. The Regional Sales manager also Directs the actions of the regional sales team to ensure attainment of sales and profit objectives.
Territory covers: New York, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut ,Rhode Island , New Jersey , Pennsylvania , Delaware , Maryland, Virginia. Candidate must resides within the region
A Day In The Life
- Develop Sales Plans and programs to grow both topline sales and margin in territory.
- Ensure team and individual accountability within the region.
- Assists in Project pricing strategies to ensure HPW End to End Solution Sales.
- Implement sales management tools that will assure maximum efficiency of the sales organization.
- Maintain executive level relations with the Key Customers within the Region.
- In conjunction with Marketing, Inside Sales and Engineering, develop and communicate programs to ensure that all new products, programs, and other pertinent information is disseminated to appropriate parties.
- Assist in new product development and inform Engineering and Manufacturing of end user requirements.
- Lead by example with accountability and organizational skill.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Four Year College Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- 5 plus years of people management for a team
- 5 years of industry experience preferred in the Data Communications Industry
- Ability to travel 50%
- Must Reside within the Region
- MS Office proficient
