Long Description

The Business Process Director will lead a team of Business Analysts and Business Process Architects to define, standardize, and continuously improve key operational processes across the Hubbell Electrical Solutions (HES) segment. This includes establishing best practice processes in partnership with the Global Operations team and driving adoption across Production Planning, Purchasing, Material Flow, and Warehousing. 

 

The role is responsible for evaluating existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, prioritizing initiatives, gaining alignment across stakeholders, and executing business process transformation projects. Additionally, the this position will lead the HES Master Data Management program, ensuring the data quality needed to support critical business processes and performance requirements. 

 

This position reports to the Senior Director of Materials and Supply Chain and works closely with HES Operations, Brand Management, site-level leadership, and Customer Service to drive standardization and operational excellence. It is preferred that the chosen candidate be located at an HES location.

  • Identifying key business processes and assessing opportunities for standardization and best practice adoption.
  • Building and maintaining a network of local process experts who establish, promote, and sustain HES best practice processes.
  • Leading the organization in designated process areas and providing regular updates on adoption progress, improvements, and change management efforts.
  • Owning end-to-end process design across HES for relevant business process areas, ensuring scalability, consistency, and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Driving continuous improvement by assessing current processes, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and developing improvement roadmaps.
  • Prioritizing improvement opportunities, building business cases, securing stakeholder alignment, and leading implementation efforts.
  • Overseeing the HES Master Data Management program to ensure data quality supports operational performance and business decision-making.
  • Building and maintaining strong global and cross-functional relationships in a matrixed organization across business units, corporate functions, and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Traveling up to 25% of the time.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in factory materials management optimization and implementing strategic initiatives that have resulted in measurable business improvements.
  • Minimum 5+ years of SAP experience across functional areas such as Materials Management, Production Planning, Material Flow, and Warehousing.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proven experience as an effective coach and mentor with cascading impact.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate alternatives and create innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
