Job Overview

The Associate Product Manager supports the execution of product and portfolio for Hubbell’s electrical product lines serving industrial applications. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, and Operations to gather market insights, support new product introductions, manage product data, and assist with lifecycle and portfolio activities. The Associate Product Manager will be supporting the Industrial product line.

A Day In The Life

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of annual marketing plans, initiatives, and launch materials to support business objectives.
  • Support the product managers in the development of product roadmaps through research, analysis, and documentation.
  • Support new product development activities including VOC, requirements documentation, and launch coordination.
  • Assist with product extensions, SKU optimization, and inventory management.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and identify pricing opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support forecasts and product availability.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to support sales enablement materials, training content, and product communications.
  • Support trade shows, meetings, and customer visits by preparing sales collateral and material.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize market, customer, and competitive data
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with cross-functional project work and new product development process
  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or related field. 
  • 0-3 years relevant experience.
  • Requires estimated 5-10% travel.
