Job Overview
Hubbel is on the search a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Plant Admin to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of our manufacturing plant. This role is pivotal in supporting plant operations by handling production order entries, managing supply and purchase orders, distributing personal protective equipment (PPE), and conducting stockroom inventories.
A Day In The Life
- Accurately enter production orders into the manufacturing system to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Manage general supply orders and maintain an adequate stock of necessary materials to avoid any disruptions in the manufacturing process.
- Handle purchase order entries into spreadsheets to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods.
- Distribute PPE to staff and maintain records to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular stockroom inventories to manage supplies and prepare reports on stock levels for upper management.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operation and address any administrative issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and activities within the plant.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining procedures for efficient workflow management.
- Provide administrative support to plant management and other staff as needed.
- Support HR with administrative tasks including timecard entries and audits.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database management and/or ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to move about the facility to access files and machinery.
- May involve lifting of supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
