Job Overview

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Schulenburg, Texas. The  Machine Operator, will be responsible for the efficient operation of injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts made of polypropylene and other thermoplastics.  This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of machine operations and material properties, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This position is available for the 3rd shift, with working hours from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Opportunities for Machine Operators in the 1st or 2nd shift may occur in the future. Please apply. 

A Day In The Life

•    Operate injection molding machines to produce components made from polypropylene, ensuring products are of high quality and conform to set specifications.
•    Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to machine settings to improve production efficiency and product quality.
•    Perform second operations on parts including adding metal components and trimming parts as required.
•    Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities, types, and dimensions of produced components.
•    Adhere to safety, quality and productivity standards including wearing proper PPE and work appropriate attire 
•    Identify and report any product defects to the supervisor
•    Collaborate with quality control personnel to identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies in product batches.
•    Assist in the training of new staff on machine operation procedures and safety protocols.
•    Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
