Position Overview

The AccelTex Strategic Account Manager-Federal is responsible for exceeding the AccelTex assigned sales quota within his/her assigned region. He/she must do so within budget while maximizing the utilization and growth of the company’s assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales in the Account Managers Assigned Territory(s).
  2.  Support existing resellers in the territory.
  3.  Work on spec position with End-users in the territory.
  4.  Recruit new resellers.
  5.  Train and enable these resellers.
  6.   Level 1 tech support.
  7.   Attend local events.
  8.   Provide sales/and general support to our main Distributors (Anixter, Graybar, Synnex, etc.)
  9.   Provide stocking assistance/recommendations to our Purchasing Team to ensure we have the right inventory to cover the business/growth in the territory.
  10.   Provide any other General Sales / Administration that is needed to support and grow the AccelTex business in their Territory

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor degree required with at least five to seven years sales experience required 
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales Experience working in the Federal space
  • Experience in working with Federal IT Resellers and Contractors
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales Experience in the IT/Networking space
  • Experience in Wireless Sales (Wi-Fi a plus)
  • Experience with Government purchasing entities, i.e. - GSA



Bachelors Degree in Other
