Job Overview
Performs inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of electronic products and subassemblies to ensure compliance with quality and engineering requirements
A Day In The Life
- Perform visual and electrical inspections and tests per established procedures and workmanship standards
- Set up and conduct electrical tests using schematics, drawings, and electronic test equipment
- Troubleshoot electronic assemblies and accurately document defects and failures
- Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation
- Complete QA documentation including router sheets, time sheets, and failure reports
- Perform basic computer data entry and retrieval
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering to resolve issues with test fixtures, equipment, and procedures
- Support prototype and production builds
- Follow safety, ESD, and quality requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree in electronics or Networking or equivalent work/military training
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Ability to read color coded charts and work in an industrial environment
- Willing and able to travel, domestic and international
- Preferred Skills:
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Computer Skills: Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)
- Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
