Job Overview

Primary responsibility of this position is designing, developing, and maintaining source code on our high voltage test and measurement equipment product lines.  This includes embedded Linux Microprocessors and Microcontrollers written in C++ and PC UI applications written in C#.  

A Day In The Life

  • Write, test, maintain, and improve embedded and remote applications for control, data collection and reporting. Primary languages are C++ and C#.
  • Write production quality code with high standards for quality, maintainability, and efficiency.
  • Utilize Git version control on Azure Devops to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Test, debug, and report issues with the connected product

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Extensive object-oriented programming experience in C++
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and preferred 3+ years of Software Development experience
  • Expertise in writing and testing software for data handling, IO tracking and control applications on the Linux OS
  • Experience with Microprocessors and micro-controllers
  • Experience developing multithreaded real time Embedded C++ and C# software
  • QT UI development (QML based designs).
  • General embedded communication protocol (I2C, SPI, UART)
  • Experience with peripherals interface (PWM, DMA, ADC, DAC, WIFI, BLE)
  • Implement connected device security and OTA Firmware/Software Updates
  • Excellent time management, organization, communication, and prioritization capability.
  • Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Hands-on experience implementing control algorithms on physical systems
  • Experience with analog and digital signal processing, communication protocols, and IO interface.
