Job Overview
The Planning Manager will oversee, analyze and refine the Aclara planning process. They will work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, product management, sales, and engineering) to ensure customer orders are scheduled within the weekly Production, Sales and Inventory (PSI) process. This position will serve as the Operations subject matter expert (SME) within the ERP system while managing the orders planning department across multiple locations, including Aclara contract manufacturers.

A Day In The Life
- Manage planning organization in multiple locations/time zones, responsible for conducting employee performance reviews and providing employee feedback
- Manage orders planning process to align with business forecast and meet customer demand
- Responsible for the Production, Sales and Inventory (PSI) process: present out weekly on 1-3 month view of production and revenue projections
- Manage receipt / ship confirmation / billing of products shipped from contract manufacturers.
- Manage production attainment and adherence for multiple locations
- Work closely with Director of Supply Chain on overall inventory
- Liaison between product management, finance, external suppliers, and order entry team with respect to order scheduling to meet customer needs
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) including service and operations metrics
What will help you thrive in this role?
- 3+ years of supply chain / operations experience
- Management experience
- ERP knowledge (SAP preferred) including but not limited to inventory control, supply/demand allocation, shipping/receiving, material master and planning parameters
- Manufacturing/Contract manufacturing experience
- Planning experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Bachelors Degree required
