Job Overview

Performs a variety of tasks involved in the assembly of electronic components and meter finished goods. Will often work independently or under minimal supervision to set up and prepare workstations and material.  Responsible for ensuring production lines maintain a continual flow and efficiency. 

A Day In The Life

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Analyze malfunctioning systems and provide feedback on the best solution to solve problems
  • Responsible for routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.
  • Utilize hand held tools such as a handheld air guns and wrenches
  • Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of product in work stations
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Constant standing, walking, pushing pulling, bending, stooping, and lifting.
  • Must follow all safety rules and regulations

What will help you thrive in this role?

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 2 years' manufacturing experience

High attention to detail and self-motivation skills

Intermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft Office.

 

Physical Demand:

Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

Frequent walking, stooping, climbing ladders and working in small spaces.
