Job Overview

This position will act as the conduit between Renewable Sales/Distributors and the other Hubbell business units for project coordination, quotes, customer service, bid packages, and submittals.

A Day In The Life

  • Act as the conduit between Vertical Market Sales Team and the other Hubbell business units for project identification, coordination, quotes, customer service, bid packages, and submittals.
  • Utilize expertise in the functions of customer service, quotation / order process, project coordination and documentation to provide a delightful experience for customers.
  • Support Salesforce/Forecasting for large Vertical Market customers & opportunities.
  • Provide customer service functions to renewable distributors including price & availability information, expediting assistance.
  • Assist in managing project orders through the full cycle of a project ensuring all project commitments are met including delivery & documentation.
  • Provide limited pricing support where required by Company policy.
  • With the assistance of the Technical Services team, provides basic support to renewable accounts.
  • Resolve customer problems by interfacing with distribution, manufacturing, operations, marketing, and sales.
  • Provide supporting documentation to customers regarding open orders, weekly shipments and past due orders.
  • Supply customers with literature updates
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree from four year college or university (Business, Technical)
  • Minimum five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrates ability to professionally summarize information in verbal & written communication
  • Experience w/customer service (interna/external customers)
  • Ability to meet deadlines on time
  • Experience w/any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Project management experience
  • Microsoft Excel experience & ability to manipulate spreadsheets w/formulas, including vlookup
  • Sales for experience, preferably w/ServiceCloud
  • Experience w/ConstructConnect & other Project lead services
  • Experience hosting conference calls
