Position Overview

The successful candidate is:

  • Responsible for training, directing, staffing and planning the customer service activities of the HES customer service team. 
  • Responsible for the future direction of the customer service group, detailing the operational requirements and develop the staff to support the provision of required services. 
  • Responsible for ensuring a consistently high level of service skills is provided by each CSR to ensure the customer experience is exceptional.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define the direction and service requirements of the organization to meet the changing customer expectations.
  • Train & coach staff in new skills that are tailored to the needs of the customer base.
  • Measure & manage performance of staff in key indices to ensure continuous improvement in skills & results.
  • Liaise w/Marketing, Technical Services and Pricing to develop sound and efficient processes and procedures that provide exception service.
  • Prepare and present management reports on current state of operations and future plans.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • 1 – 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Communication Skills:  Strong written and verbal; bi-lingual (French/English) an asset
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Project Management: Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.  Knowledge of SAP.
