Job Overview
The Quotations Specialist is responsible for the daily management of quoted pricing fulfillment and will play a pivotal role in Hubbell’s ongoing journey to improve customer experience by ensuring prompt and accurate pricing responses to customer quote requests.
With strong knowledge of supported products and keen insights into market competition, the Product Pricing Analyst employs an analytical approach to price setting that is reflective of the current market landscape and aligned with the dynamic objectives of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing efficient research and analysis to support pricing strategy decisions and/or recommendations. This includes developing a close, working relationship with the product management and other business teams to support the continued alignment of pricing and commercial go-to-market strategies along with streamlining the review & approval process, where required.
A Day In The Life
- Responsible for reviewing and creating bill of materials from specifications and preparing appropriate quotation.
- Establish bill of material cross referencing competitive product when required.
- Become a pricing subject matter expert for assigned products, staying updated on industry trends, product, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behavior.
- Promotes and maintains personalized proactive service for all internal and external customers.
- Provides attentive follow up to distributors and end users concerning issued quotations and new product opportunities.
- Resolves customer opportunity issues in conjunction with the FSRs.
- Maintains database and ensures that information sent to business system is accurate and current.
- Works with sales to determine into stock pricing for distributors and loads into system with corporate pricing margin objective in mind.
- Montiors and maintains minimum margin standard as outlined in the corporate objectives.
- Coordinate sales lead follow-up and qualification.
- Builds rapport and confidence with distributors and end users.

Required Qualifications:
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or other analytically rigorous fields.
• 3+ years of quoting, pricing, product marketing, business analyst, or customer service experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Proven track record of success, demonstrating strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced & high-volume environment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, influence, and deliver results.
• High proficiency with MS Excel for data analysis, pricing strategy development, and delivery. (Pivot Table, V-Lookup)
• Experience with SAP is highly desired, specific experience with SAP Sales & Distribution module for quoting preferred.
• Bilingual in French/English a definite asset.

The expected salary for this position is $65,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Please note this range reflects base salary only. Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, pension plan, and may include other incentives. This posting is for a new vacancy.
