Assemble and pack a variety of products as directed. 

A Day In The Life

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  1. Ensure pulled parts for specific assemblies agree with Bill of Material
  2. Prepares sub assemblies as necessary
  3. Assemble using pneumatic and mechanical presses, Hubbell drivers, electric grinder, wire strippers, air drivers, rivet guns, router, laser, wire cutting/stripping machines,  etc.
  4. Performs ongoing visual inspection
  5. Test finished product
  6. Repairs to faulty assembly
  7. Product upgrade / conversion
  8. Prepares packing material
  9. Packages finished product and transports to Holding Area
  10. Cleanup of workstation
  11. Other duties related to assembly functions

  2. Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
  3. Work well with others
  4. Good housekeeping skills
  5. Continual standing and lifting
  6. Ability to do some heavy lifting
  7. Basic mathematics
  8. Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
  9. Valid equipment operating licenses will be required for Tow Motors and Man-up Order Picker or any additional equipment purchased by Hubbell

The expected hourly rate for this position is $22.58 per hour. Please note this range reflects base hourly rate only.Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.
