Position Overview

Primary contact between Customers, Field Personnel, Marketing, Pricing, Planning and Warehouse for assigned territory for the Hubbell Construction & Energy and Hubbell Commercial & Industrial prorducts

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for processing and expediting of orders.

 Actively manage customer orders for assigned territory to ensure delivery commitments are met.

Monitor and analyze delivery performance for assigned territory and identify areas for improvement.

Develops strong technical knowledge and is able to assist customer as 1st line technical support.

Handles general product and book price inquiries and correspondence from customers and the field sales force.

Must be able to effectively interpret and communicate information from ERP system.

 Communicate with Marketing, Quality and Planning to identify and solve customer requests and problems.

Communicate special order processing requirements

Promote the use of Distributor Web Portal with clients.

Liaise with Product Managers to ensure accurate, detailed and technical product information is provided  .

Create IM’s (Item Maintenance) when necessary. Recognize when to utilize the IM. i.e. Custom items are ordered, parts need to be extended when not set up for Canada.

Issue credits, debits, & paybacks within 10 days of receipt. Investigate, gather information such as proof and determine which course of actions is required.

Skills and Experience

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills.  Bi-lingual - French & English – written and oral

Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.

 Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

 Project Management: Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities

Education
Associates Degree in Business
