Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Digital Support Specialist to support and optimize our organizations digital initatives. Duties for the Digital Support Specialist will include distributor online support, coordination of master data efforts with Idea Connector (Industry Data Warehouse), updating online attributes and assets, B2C online sales and supporting a robust visual basic infrastructure. Working in collaboration with the team to support master data management, support and development for customer coded visual basic applications and selling products online will be an essential part in driving our digital evolution, streamlining processes and support business growth through the development of our online sales channel.
Ideal candidates for this role should be resourceful, well-organized and must have excellent communication skills. Ultimately, the Digital Support Specialist will be responsible for master data management through the enrichment of product attributes, sharing of this data with distributor partners, selling products online and development and support of inhouse applications to streamline internal work processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting, supporting and development of Visual Basic Applications
- Minimum Advertise Pricing review and enforcement with online partners
- Web shopping price comparison
- Process improvement through workflow automation
- Support consumer sales on the web
- Provide master data support for distributor partners
- Support 3rd party retailer (Amazon.ca, Orka, Zoro)
- Support distributor partners through customer master data extracts & Idea Connector data application
- Report on data quality standrds - missing images, attributes & assets
- Assist w/new account (customer master) & material master data support
Skills and Experience
- Degree or working experience in Application Development and Master Data Administration
- Impeccable organization skills and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy.
- Project management experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Technical documentation skills
- Webstore and or eCommerce experience
- Tech savvy, a geek who can learn any platform quickly
- Bilinguial (English/French) an asset
- STibo Product Information Management
- Visual Basic & Visual Studio
- Agilepoint workflow management
- experience coordinating eCommerce B2C sales
