Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Digital Support Specialist to enhance and support our digital initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving our digital evolution and supporting business growth through online channels. Key responsibilities include providing online support to distributor partners, managing and enriching master data via the Idea Connector (Industry Data Warehouse), and maintaining product attributes and assets through our PIM system (Stibo Step).
The Digital Support Specialist will also contribute to B2C online sales through platforms like Contentful CMS, CommerceTools and Algolia search and support a robust infrastructure of custom Visual Basic applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to streamline internal processes, improve data quality, and ensure a seamless digital customer experience.
This role plays a critical part in Hubbell Canada's digital marketing efforts, leveraging tools such as Fullstory, Hubspot and Google Marketplace to enhance user experience. The Digital Marketing team continues to harness AI and Microsoft Power Automate to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and establish best practices in Canada.
Ideal candidates will be organized, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills. Success in this role requires a blend of technical proficiency and strategic thinking, with responsibilities including:

· Online product merchandising and sales enablement
· Development and support of internal Visual Basic applications through Visual Basic and Visual Studio

A Day In The Life
Application Development and Support
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain custom Visual Basic applications to support internal workflows.
- Provide support for store order processing, fulfillment, and customer experience issues.
Digital Sales & Online Channel Support
- Support consumer sales through web platforms, ensuring product visibility and accuracy.
- Enable products across store and web platforms, including pricing setup, digital asset uploads, and French translation and localization of digital content. · Monitor and enforce Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policies with online partners. Master Data Management & Syndication · Deliver tailored master data files to meet distributor requirements. · Ensure data accuracy and timely updates across systems including IDEA Connector, AD Connector, SAP, VMI, Google Merchant Center, and SharePoint. · Provide master data support and custom extracts for distributor partners. Product Information & Quality Assurance · Manage product information using the PIM system (Stibo Step), including attributes and digital assets. · Report on data quality standards, identifying gaps such as missing images, attributes, and assets. Partner Support · Support channel partners with product data and digital content. · Collaborate with distributor partners to ensure accurate and complete product representation online. Process Optimization & Automation · Identify opportunities for workflow automation to improve operational efficiency. · Contribute to ongoing process improvements through digital tools and AI-driven initiatives.
