Position Overview

Responsible for all aspect of the Ship and Debit program for Hubbell Canada’s external customers   Requires a thorough understanding of SOP and department work instructions inclusive.  Willingness to acquire product knowledge on an ongoing basis for HES and HLI product platforms and customer service operating procedures for HC ULC provided in Paradigm.  This position must maintain a strong working relationship within the organization for better communication and swift problem resolution.  Understanding and projecting a Customer First attitude to internal and external personnel, distributors and end customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review & categorize all Ship & Debit claims received via the general email
  • Contact external customers if required information is not received
  • Validate & process Ship & Debit claims in SAP
  • Work closely w/Finance, provide information to clear credits & solve any issues identified
  • Review paybacks prior to sending a final copy to customer
  • Review & work w/customers to resolve discrepancies on Ship & Debit claims
  • Create additional credits when required
  • Work effectively to deadlines w/accuracy & attention to details
  • Prepare reports, analysis & summaries as required
  • Provide telephone backup to reception during daily breaks & lunch; & vacation or other full day absences

Skills and Experience

  • Accounting Courses: Diploma with previous general account work experience
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Computer Skills: Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Bilingual in French/English a definite asset.

Education

Associates Degree in Business or Marketing
