Job Overview

The Senior Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role leads a team of warehouse associates and works closely with cross-functional departments to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

A Day In The Life

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance and morale.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to meet delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions and generate reports as needed.
  • Run warehouse transactions reports and fix negatives and COGIS.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate when necessary to management.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and operational, coordinating repairs as needed.
  • Drive kaizen events to improve warehouse efficiencies.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years Lean knowledge
  • 5+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems, SAP WMS & IM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
