A Day In The Life
As the CNC router Operator your day-to-day task will be to set up and run jobs supporting our Roto mold enclosures group. Our enclosures need to have flashing, vents and customer required cutouts put in them. Your day will consist of getting direction from the production leadership setting up the machine, running production on the machine, making minor adjustments to the machine and changing any tooling that is needed for the set ups.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Must have G and M code Experience
- Must have the ability to operate CNC Routers
- Must have a working understanding of CNC machining operation, offsets and minor adjustments
- Must have the ability to set up preprogramed jobs
- Must have ability to use measuring equipment for in process quality checks
- Minimum of three years related experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems, and other maintenance related areas.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively to various levels in the company.
- Ability to read blueprints and job travelers
- Provides guidance, training, support, and mentorship to all Hubbell team members.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with Hubbell procedures, rules, and regulations and ensuring all team members do the same.
- All other duties as required
