Job Overview

REF Automation is part of the Hubbell Electrical Solutions segment. REF Automation is a manufacturer of quality connector products. We are currently looking for a qualified maintenance operative in our North York location at 774 Supertest Rd for the day shift; Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (8 hour shift).
A Day In The Life
- Reset or setup production machines with new orders.
- Learn to assess and trouble shoot with problems.
- Provide general maintenance on production machines.
- Assist with tool changes.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Must have knowledge of: Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, gears, bearings, seals
- Electrical experience would be beneficial
- Will be required to do maintenance, preventative maintenance, keeping maintenance records, repairs and troubleshooting.
- Machine Set-ups, install and ensuring machinery and equipment work according to its purpose
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude
- On occasion may have to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to read production drawings
- Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and writing)
- Must comply with safety protocols
