Position Overview

The Hubbell Enterprise Marketing (HEM) Manager, Sales and Marketing Operations is a critical role to help our Creative, Segment, Brand, Digital and Communications teams scale with sales and marketing technologies. This role is responsible for informing strategic planning, driving the HEM technology roadmap, and enhancing overall sales and marketing processes in relationship to marketing automation, CRM, lead management, web content management, project management and digital asset management. This role will help maximize the usage and effectiveness of marketing and sales systems to deliver the right message, to the right user, through the right channel(s), at the right time.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary business partner to sales and marketing management to drive overall strategy, process, and efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide and continually improve best-in-class systems for scalable growth and optimal sales and marketing team productivity
  • Lead projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the sales and marketing organization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment, accountability and timely execution of yearly objectives and initiatives
  • Actively monitor, analyze and report on sales and marketing activities as it relates to applicable systems
  • Work with marketing and sales teams on top of funnel/lead generation activities and quantify return on program investments
  • Ensure that systems and processes are in place to enable reporting on key KPI’s for Sales and Marketing organization.
  • Manage marketing technology stack and complex vendor relationships, negotiations, renewals, and processes. Assist with Salesforce vendor relationship as needed.
  • Be an effective educator/trainer both internally and externally on sales process, digital tactics, benefits, and trends. Drive enablement and change management as new tools and systems are launched and operationalized.
  • Lead a team of CRM and marketing data administrators
  • Create and maintain documentation on sales processes, policies and relevant sales training materials as well as assist in onboarding new sales talent

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of Marketing or Sales technology management, Product management, business system analysis) or related experience 
  • Experience with some, if not all, of the following: CRM (ex. Salesforce), marketing automation software (ex. Hubspot), product information management (ex. Stibo STEP), digital asset management (ex. Widen), project management (ex. Workfront), web content management (ex. Hybris)
  • Experience with building and maintaining complex workflows and automations preferred

Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
