Division Overview

Position Overview

Create work instructions templates and documenting work procedures for all areas.  Train Leads how to fill out and maintain the forms with current work practices.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop the work instruction forms needed
  • Gather work instruction steps from the floor and existing documentation (BOM, Traveler, TOG’s, etc and create one set of work instructions for each operation
  • Train the leads and key floor personal how to document what they are doing on this form so it can be managed long term.   Work with administrative staff on how to input the data from the floor.
  • Set up a process of review to insure that the work instructions are reviewed prior to being entered into the system and posted on the floor.

Will be assigned other works as needed.

Skills and Experience
  • Experience creating and teaching other to create work instructions.
  • Auditing existing work practices and work with personnel on consistency of operations
  • Creating a system and forms to document actions on the floor.
  • Studing Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
