Position Overview

The Regional Manager plans, prioritizes, develops and implements sales strategies to assist Territory Managers throughout the region. Directs the actions of the regional sales team to ensure attainment of sales and profit objectives. Region includes CA,AZ,NM,CO,UT,NV,OR,WA,ID,MT,WY.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops Sales Plans and programs for staff to grow both topline sales and margin in territory.
  • Ensure team and individual accountability.
  • Collaborates in Project pricing strategies.
  • Implements sales management tools that will assure maximum efficiency of the sales organization.
  • Manage relations with key customers.
  • In conjunction with Marketing, Inside Sales and Engineering, develop and communicate programs to ensure that all new products, programs, and other pertinent information is disseminated to appropriate parties.
  • Assist in new product development and inform Engineering and Manufacturing of end user requirements.
  • Lead by example with accountability, interpersonal skills.

Skills and Experience

  • Four Year College Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Possess Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • 5 years of proven experience preferred in the Data Communications Industry.
  • Ability to travel 50%.
  • Must Reside within the Region.
  • MS Office proficient.
