Hubbell Premise Wiring a division of Hubbell Inc. is seeking an experienced national key account manager position. Hubbell Premise Wiring specializes in the manufacturing of IT network cabling products and IT building infrastructure solutions. Our technology solutions support all verticals including the retail, entertainment, healthcare, education, hospitality, Quick service restaurant, transportation, financial, and industrial manufacturing facilities.

Position Overview

Hubbell Premise Wiring National Team specializes in large complex National projects such as large IT infrastructure multi-site deployments and complex facilities requiring IT network upgrades. The qualified national key account manager focus will be to manage key national enterprise clients, national certified installer partners, national project installations, inventory management, client account management, and salesforce project management. We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing. The qualified candidate must be willing to take direction as well as be able to work independently, as assigned tasks will vary. 
 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients within your customer base to expand sales.
  • Implementation of the national team sales strategy ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded in the marketplace
  • Maintain a high profile Hubbell presence in the marketplace through the creation of strong solutions with customers that turn a sales relationship into a long term commercial partnership.
  • Hit defined targets and contributing to overall profitability, success, and positive image of Hubbell in the marketplace.
  • Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts
  • Communicate effectively and work closely with National customers, and National Installers.
  • Plan, direct and manage National projects to ensure on-time project completions 
  • Evaluate BOMS and specifications to determine requirements necessary for project success.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure conformity to specifications and schedules.
  • Interact with national clients and distribution partners to assist with meeting project deadlines
  • Create and maintain fluid and effective project schedules
  • Proactively handle project issues and/or risks.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree (Business, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of IT Networking and Structured Cabling systems.
  • Industry experience
  • Consistent record of successful solution selling
  • Account management skills to start projects and finish projects successfully. Experience managing projects from $50K to $5M
  • Ability to network within a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers.
  • Ability to work closely with team members and collaborate effectively across the extended account team.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, distributor partners, and management team.
  • Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Sales Force.
