Position Overview

The Automation Solutions department creates cutting edge, custom automation for the Group.  The Facilities Associate is primarily responsible for entry level technician tasks, various support tasks and for maintaining a clean and organized environment to promote high productivity and safety for the Automation Solutions team. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Open incoming shipments and organize the materials 

Organize raw materials 

Cut stock for the machine shop 

Clean and organize the facility and grounds 

Manage garbage disposal 

Snow blow, shovel and salt walkways and entry doors 

Check and replenish stock levels of hardware, fittings, etc. 

Basic assembly and fabrication  

Other tasks as requested by supervisor 

Skills and Experience

1+ years relevant experience.  

High School degree or equivalent required. 

Valid driver's license required.


Ability to lift 50 lbs.  

Requires good hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity, mobility 

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time  

Ability to be in a cramped or confined space occasionally 

Must be able to distinguish and identify different components/part colors 

Must be able to read and follow drawings and assembly procedures
