Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to lead a team of sourcing professionals and drive strategic procurement initiatives across key categories. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to deliver value, manage supplier relationships, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, team management, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will serve as a key point of escalation for complex sourcing issues and provide hands-on support for critical projects.
A Day In The Life
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sourcing managers by setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular reviews, and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across key categories to drive cost savings, improve quality, and mitigate risk.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and spend data to inform strategic sourcing decisions and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, value engineering, and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization.
• Define and enforce sourcing compliance standards in alignment with corporate policies, including contract development, negotiation, and execution.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular business reviews, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex sourcing challenges, supplier issues, and contract disputes.
• Provide hands-on support for high-impact projects such as new product introductions, supplier transitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead cross-segment sourcing projects to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, R&D) to ensure sourcing strategies support organizational goals.
• Support procurement-related budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, financial, and operational threats.
• Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes, tools, and systems, leveraging data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing metrics, project status, and team performance to senior leadership.

Required Skills and Experience
• BS/BA in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent
• 7+ Years of sourcing/purchasing experience
• 3+ Years of experience in leadership or team management role
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, & Outlook)
• SAP Experience
• Willingness to travel as needed (approx. 20%)
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree
• APICS/ASCM Certification or other related purchasing certification
