The Product Development Manager is responsible for leading strategic product development initiatives, overseeing the end-to-end process from ideation to market launch. This role demands a seasoned leader with a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong managerial skills. The Manager, Product Development will also be responsible for creating a customer-centric environment, driving innovation, and aligning product strategies with market needs and organizational goals.

· Leading the strategic planning and execution of product development initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives and market trends
· Developing and implementing strategies for product expansion, diversification, and optimization
· Foster strong working relationships across departments to ensure coordinated efforts and successful product delivery
· Allocate resources effectively, including budgets, personnel, and technologies, to support product development initiatives
· Utilizing project management methodologies to plane, execute, and monitor multiple product development projects concurrently
· Driving improvements in the product development process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines
· Identifying potential risks and challenges in product development and implement strategies to mitigate them
· Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate skill development initiatives
· Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on product performance, milestones, and achievements
· Fostering a customer-centric approach with the team, leveraging customer feedback and insights to drive product
What will help you thrive in this role?
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Business Administration, or a related field
· 6-10 years of progressive experience in product development, with previous managerial or leadership experience (required)
· Proven track record of launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle (required)
· Demonstrated capability in strategic planning, resource allocation, and team management
· Capacity to manage budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring high-quality product delivery
· Ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and convincingly
· Exceptional problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions in complex and dynamic product development environments
· Understanding of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to product development within specific industries
