Job Overview
The Hubbell Industrial FP&A Analyst will serve as a key member of the Hubbell Electrical Solutions finance team supporting multiple business units within the Industrial Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This role reports to the Director of FP&A in Manchester, NH and interfaces with the senior leadership team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. A strong candidate will be able to partner with the finance team and senior leadership across the businesses to ensure the delivery of value-added financial analysis and reporting that leads to accurate strategic decision making.
A Day In The Life
- Support the monthly forecasting and annual operating plan processes
- Assists in preparing financial reports, analysis, commentary, and presentation materials
- Ability to create financial models and conduct variance analysis
- Drive continuous improvement to simplify and streamline processes
- Supports key financial system upgrades and implementations including SAP and OneStream
- Completes ad hoc financial information requests and various special projects as needed
- Ability to work, and effectively communicate, across all levels of an organization
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, from a four-year college or university
- 3+ Years of finance/accounting within a global manufacturing company
- OneStream and SAP ERP system experience desired
- Understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls
- Ability to effectively identify, diagnose, and communicate complex transactions
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to work well with others in a diverse organization.
- Highly organized with an ability to work well under tight time constraints.
- Self-starter who can work independently and execute projects effectively
