Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our production lines by interfacing with materials and planning to maintain flow. 

A Day In The Life

  • Coordinates and schedules manufacturing of product to assure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Works closely with Sale /Customer Service and the Tool Service Mgr to coordinate production schedules including the monitoring of material deliveries and adjusting or rescheduling production, as necessary.
  • Communicates daily with Sales / Customer Service  and the Tool Service Mgr  concerning work center loads, capacities, lead times, problem areas and submit a   new customer a schedule if they foresee a potential problem in the future that will force the original schedule to be missed.
  • Assists in scheduling the flow of materials, components, and product between plants to meet production schedules.
  • Issue of work (shop) orders daily to the factory floor per the established schedules.
  • Communicates production information daily to Sales/Customer Service personnel through continuing updates of the shop order notes.
  • Works with Inventory Supervisor to ensure components are available to meet future production schedule
  • Facilitates expedites through incoming receiving to satisfy Customer demands.
  • Monitor the daily schedule & coordinate updates and changes to the schedule
  • Monitor and expedite the progress of both manufactured parts & customer orders based on their appropriate due date
