A Day In The Life

  • Hold pre‑shift meetings with the prior shift Group Leader to review performance and organize the daily plan.
  • Direct associates to workstations based on operational needs.
  • Conduct Toolbox Safety Meetings and participate in safety campaigns.
  • Run required daily reports and review operational metrics.
  • Communicate priorities and status through visual aids and daily team meetings.
  • Monitor workflow and manage tasks and people within the warehouse management system to ensure accurate and timely shipment of orders.
  • Observe work practices, report unsafe conditions, and ensure proper use of equipment and materialsAssist with associate. performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
  • Escalate personnel or equipment issues to the supervisor as needed.
  • Support annual physical inventory activities.
  • Ensure new associates are trained to standard work and understand company policiesPerform additional duties as assigned.
  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership and coordination of associates to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations.
  • Support the training, development, and performance management of associates, including adherence to standard work and company policies.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards, security practices, and a strong safety culture across the team.
  • Manage work execution and associate activity using warehouse management systems to meet operational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Partner with supervisors and leadership to escalate issues and support operational decision‑making.
