A Day In The Life
Safely operates assembly equipment such as powered and non powered hand tools, tape machines, bag sealers, penetrox pumps, pad printers, vibe bowl, etc.. in the assembly of various kitted finished product.
- Pushes buttons, interrupts electrical eyes and/or depresses pedal to activate machine.
- Verifies safety equipment on machine and/or equipment is functional before starting the job.
- Works from operation sheets, prints, written work instructions and/or verbal instructions as necessary.
- Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operations.
- Assembles and/or sorts work pieces.
- Reports job operations/activities in SAP
- Is responsible for the quality of product produced from operations they perform.
- Cleans work station as required at end of job assignment or shift.
- Performs other related work as required.

- Attention to detail – Read and understand work instructions and blue prints to produce quality product.
- Mechanical inclination – Ability to understand and correctly use hand tools both powered and non powered.
- Measuring tool use - knowledge and ability to read measurements on calipers, rulers and measuring tape.
- Good base math skills – Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division are very important in this role.
- Computer literacy - Ability to understand and navigate through production software (SAP).
- Team Player - Ability to cohesively work with others in a positive team atmosphere.
